Latin America Project due March 15th

For this project you are locating "artifacts" or things that are from Latin America.  You are finding artifacts from different Latin America countries, NOT 20 things from Mexico or 6 from BRAZIL, 1 artifact from each of the countries or as many countries as you choose to earn for your grade. 


*Artifacts can be generated from the computer.  It is OK to have pictures of the item rather than the actual item.

• Make sure you label the artifact with the country that it comes from.
• Each is worth 2 points
• You have included a map that is neatly labeled and colored with the country name and the the artifact that goes with that country
• No repeat items - you can't have a shirt from Mexico and one from Venezuela and Peru
• No more that 5 items of clothing
• Make sure you complete the log sheet included in the packet that was given out
• Created some sort of presentation:  Prezi, PowerPoint, poster, booth, et

Helpful hint:  There are no specific websites to go to, this is part of your research.   What works well is using some sort of search engine, like Google, and type in Products from Venezuela - this generates a list of websites that could be appropriate.  You might also want to try the U.S. State Department website.  It will give an overview of each of the countries and you can see a countries economic profile and also what they trade.  Here is the link: http://www.state.gov    - from here you go to country and regions and then click on background notes.
