Thursday, October 20 MEA Weekdend!

This week in Geography we completed our geography handbook test.  Grades are posted and we will go through the tests next week.  Tuesday we worked on our Prezi "Me Projects".  We are still having some difficulties logging people in to the education site, email accounts, etc.  Don't worry, with technology there are always issues to work through and we will get it all worked out.  With that said, we will be back in the computer lab on Tuesday.  If you want to try and access your account from home here is how you do it.  Remember the website is just Prezi.com and it will ask for your username and password.  This is your school email account  example:(stujdoe@isd381.k12.mn.us) stu for student, first letter of first name, then your complete last name, followed by isd381.k12.mn.us. To check your account from the district website - isd381.k12.mn.us-  you go on to outlook web and they will ask for your username and password.  This is different from prezi- username thhs\john.doe and the password is your lunch account.

Wednesday we went through different types of landforms and started our project for the weekend.  Remember pick 20 of the 42 landforms.  You will name the type of landform, define it, find an example of one on the earth and name it (i.e. Gulf of Mexico if your landform is Gulf). Give exact location, and finally draw, print off computer, cut out of magazine, etc. the example.  I will post the PowerPoint from class on Wednesday if you would like to use it as a source for your definitions.  Make this project easy by taking  just five a day and you will have it finished by Sunday.  Have a great week!
